The logo of Equal Recruitment is based on the 'Eye of Horus,' an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph also known as the 'all-seeing eye.' Each component of the eye represents one of the senses: smell, sight, thought, hearing, taste, and touch. Its shape resembles a human eye with an eyebrow and a stylized eyeliner-like line above the eyelid. The lower part of the eye appears to depict a stylized representation of black feathers.
According to Egyptian mythology, a battle for the succession of Osiris' throne led to his son Horus losing his left eye. The eye was gouged out, shattered, and scattered. However, through the intervention of Thoth, the god of science, writing, and the calendar, the Eye of Horus was restored and imbued with extraordinary visionary power.
Wherever a weakened state or disruption of the natural balance undermines a situation, the image of this symbol stabilizes and restores the positive flow, bringing everything back into place. Strengthened by hope and belief in the ancient Egyptian wisdom of the eternal return of universal harmony.
